The Independence Volunteer Fire Department is located in Independence, California. We serve the community of Independence and surrounding areas in Inyo County. Our department plays a crucial role in providing emergency fire response, including in town residential and commercial structure protection, wildland fires, traffic accidents and providing medical assistance during emergencies
