Our department plays a crucial role in providing emergency fire response, including in town residential and commercial structure protection, wildland fires, traffic accidents and providing medical assistance during emergencies

We have a long history of excellence and have received numerous accolades for our service to the community. IVFD has the honor of being the 1st fire department in the Owens Valley. Our history dates back to 1866!
